Our camps are designed for all skill levels and grouped by age only, but our intensives have pre-requisites. Make sure you double check all program details before registering, and if you have any Qs about the re-reqs, don’t hesitate to get in touch!

All Levels Circus Camp

Looking for a fun and energetic Summer Camp for your child? Look no further, you've found the circus! Circus Camps are a great way to develop new skills on the ground and in the air!

Every camp culminates in a circus performance for our campers' families to enjoy. Students will work in groups to develop their very own circus acts to perform for their loved ones at the end of the week! Circus Summer Camps are a fun adventure for kids at every stage in their circus journey!

  • Full day camps for students ages 8 - 13 & 13 - 18.

  • Half-day camps for students ages 6 - 8.

A typical day at circus camp will include:

  • Warm-up games, strength building challenges and stretching.

  • Aerial lessons (silks, trapeze, hoop).

  • Ground lessons (juggling, acrobatics, unicycling, pyramids).

  • A snack break in the morning and a lunch break in the afternoon.

  • Games, and other activities during breaks from circus lessons.

  • Physical storytelling games, creative play, act creation, and more!

    Students in Circus Camp must follow instructions, conduct themselves safely, and cooperate with others.

Program Details

    • All students must arrive with hair tied back and out of the face.

    • All students must arrive wearing no jewelry. (Earrings are permitted only for children whose piercings have not yet healed and must keep their earrings in at all times. Please notify your coach upon arrival if this is the case. Very small hoops with no backings are also acceptable.) 

    All students must be dressed for circus in order to participate, this means:

    • To wear: Clothing that is suitable to be upside down - A bodysuit, a shirt that fits tight to the body, or a shirt that is long enough to be tucked in securely. Absolutely no skirts or dresses.

    • To wear: Clothing that is suitable for movement and stretching and will not catch on equipment - Shorts, sweatpants, or leggings that fit tight to the body. Absolutely no jeans and no zippers.

    • To bring: Clothing that will prevent friction burns and scrapes - A long-sleeved shirt or sweater to cover armpits, long pants to cover the back of the knees if wearing shorts.

  • When registering, please notify us if your child may benefit from one-on-one support or other forms of adaptation in order to have a fun and safe week at circus camp.

    We provide support coaches upon request, and we require advance notice in order to staff each camp appropriately to the needs of each group.

    We are excited to work together to ensure your child has an exciting and comfortable week at camp, and we need your help to do so! We can not guarantee accommodations if no information is provided to us.

    If we are not equipped to ensure a positive experience due to a lack of communication, your child will not be able to complete their week at camp with us.

    • Campers must bring a water bottle, snacks and a lunch that does not require refrigeration. Circus is a very high energy physical activity, please pack generously!

    • The use of cell phones is not permitted during camp. Cell phones must remain in cubbies at all times, or be left at home.

    • Students will always have ample time to arrive and get settled in before diving into activities. Please do not drop off earlier than 8:50AM.

  • FULL DAY CAMP (5-day week) $450+GST

    HALF DAY CAMP (5-day week) $250+GST

    FULL DAY CAMP (4-day week) $360+GST

    HALF DAY CAMP (4-day week) $200+GST

Ground Acrobatics Intensive

This intensive is for students who have built a strong foundation of skills on the floor and are excited to dive deeper into a variety of ground-based disciplines including handstands, partner acrobatics, solo acrobatics, group pyramids and juggling.

This group will be split for some lessons, in order to accommodate a large range of skill, and is open to any students who meets the given pre-requisites, including students who are advanced in ground-based disciplines.

  • A typical day in this intensive will include:

  • Warm up activities and stretching

  • Lessons across multiple disciplines

  • Games

  • Group challenges

  • Creative tasks and exploration

  • Strength conditioning

  • A snack break in the morning and a lunch break in the afternoon.

This intensive does not culminate in a performance

All participating students must be:

  • Willing and able to follow all safety instructions

  • Respectful of other students' boundaries

  • Comfortable communicating effectively with a partner

  • Able to ask for help when needed, and to stop immediately when asked

Program Details

    • All students must arrive with hair tied back and out of the face.

    • All students must arrive wearing no jewelry. (Earrings are permitted only for children whose piercings have not yet healed and must keep their earrings in at all times. Please notify your coach upon arrival if this is the case. Very small hoops with no backings are also acceptable.)

    • forward roll (stand up at end without use of hands), cartwheel (both sides), kickup to handstand (2 sec hold), tummy to wall handstand (30 sec hold), headstand (5 sec hold)

    Partner skills:

    • Successful hip stand as base or flyer (2 person sumo), successful thigh stand as base or flyer (counterbalance) and experience trying both in both roles.

Creation and Performance Intensive

This intensive is for students who are comfortable with the process of constructing a circus act and presenting it, and are interested in stepping further into the world of creation and performance as they develop who they are as a circus artist.

This intensive is focussed on the performance aspect of circus, not skill-acquisition, and students should be prepared to use skills/tricks already in their repertoire in order to participate.

The lessons, games and activities will explore and practice:

  • Musicality

  • Movement quality

  • Improvisation

  • Choreography

  • Presentation skills

  • Act creation methods

Each day will include a snack break in the morning and a lunch break in the afternoon.

This intensive culminates in a "scratch show" - an informal presentation of new or unfinished works of circus.

All participating students must be:

  • Willing to embrace silliness

  • Able to interact with their own and others' creativity in a non-judgemental manner

  • Interested in and excited about performance

Program Details

    • Must have at least 1 circus discipline in which they are prepared to create/perform. Meaning: the ability to create an act.

Students will work independently and in groups to develop their very own circus acts to perform for their loved ones at the end of the week! Circus Camps are an amazing opportunity for kids at every stage in their circus journey to dive into act creation and performance!

A typical day at circus camp will include:

  • Warm-up games, strength-building challenges and stretching.

  • Aerial lessons (trapeze, hoop, and silks).

  • Ground lessons (juggling, acrobatics, group pyramids).

  • A snack break in the morning and a lunch break in the afternoon.

  • Colouring, get-to-know-you games, and other ice-breaker activities during breaks from circus lessons.

  • Physical storytelling games, creative play, act creation, and more!
