OUR PROGRAM VALUES
Bodies should not be pushed past their limits. We encourage students to discover their limits, face their fears, and surprise themselves with their own capabilities, but we do so on their terms, with the support of coaches' confidence, expertise and encouragement, not fear or intimidation, and never physical force.
Trust and cooperation are at the heart of circus. What we do requires students to take responsibility for the physical safety of the group as well as their own. We facilitate this with care and intention, and teach communication skills alongside physical skill-building. Our students will value each other's voices, and respect each other's bodies, their own bodies, and the space we train in together.
The mark of a successful relationship with circus is its sustainability. We are invested in providing students with the knowledge, strength, technique, and good practices to train safely and responsibly for as long as they wish.
Leveling and pre-requisites are never black and white. Circus Arts defy categorization and quantification - and so do our students! When we evaluate a student's readiness for a class, we do so based on the full picture of their training journey, and it is impossible for any one list of skills to encompass all the factors in a student’s success. Please ALWAYS get in touch with us if you are interested in a certain class, and never assume a missing pre-requisite is the end of the road.
We aim to make our program accessible and comfortable for students of all races, religions, genders, and sexualities. We will always engage in conversations relevant to students’ ability to understand and respect each other, and encourage families to be in touch if there is anything we can do to make our space a better home for your circus dreams. Circus is for everyone. never miss registration day!
Frequently Asked Questions
-
All students who are trying circus for the first time will begin in a once a week, CORE CIRCUS class. This includes students who have previous experience in similar sports.
If you are joining us for the first time and have trained your circus skills elsewhere, please contact us to arrange a visit to the space and we’ll be happy to meet you and help determine which of our classes would best match your current level of experience.
-
Our full season programs (weekly classes) run from September to June.
We run camps and intensives during Spring Break and Summer.
-
We don’t offer drop ins or trial classes, but students in all our classes are eligible for a no-consequence cancellation of enrolment for the first 2 months of their session. Be sure to read the withdrawal policies specific to your class prior to registering, and consider paying in instalments rather than paying for the session in full if you are joining us for the first time.
Our camps are also a great way to try out some circus before choosing a class!
-
Be sure to join the waitlist if there is a waitlist available for your class! Waitlist links are listed on the classes page.
Waitlists are not retained once a season ends, so to ensure you sign up for our Kids Program Newsletter to hear from us when registration time for the next season is coming up!
-
Our once a week classes are divided by age only, but our twice a week and three times a week classes have pre-requisites.
Use the details on our classes page to determine which class is the right match for your child’s experience level, schedule, and interests, and get in touch with us with any and all questions. We are excited to help you find the perfect fit.

Mid-season enrolments are available pending space in the particular class.
